Day 1: Cusco - Ollantaytambo - Coffee Plantation - Rafting or Trekking

There are many roads to Machu Picchu. As part of this tour we will take you on a wholly unique route, a tour of the jungle combined with visit at the coffee plantation. This tour, catered to the coffee lover, includes many interesting places on the road from Ollantaytambo to Machu Picchu. The first day will get your blood flowing as it starts with a bicycle trip! You will get a chance to ride downhill from high Andes to the jungle (from 4250 m. to 1700 m. above sea level). This is not only extreme adventure, but also unique opportunity to experience two completely different climates: the hot, humid high jungle and the cold, dry high Andes. After a bicycle ride we will visit coffee plantation, where for few hours we will dive into coffee production details and even will also have a chance to make our own coffee. After lunch at the coffee plantation, we will take a caffeine-fueled walk through the jungle or, if you would prefer, you can be even more adventurous and go rafting through the river of Urubamba. Rafting is an additional option that needs to be booked in advance, it is not included in the price of the tour.
